Grocery Foundation Student Ambassador Katherine Bailey

Katherine Bailey, Grade 12 student from T.A. Blakelock High School, Oakville, was among 11 student ambassadors selected to take part in the Agents of Change Summit on Monday Feb. 8, 2016 at Daniels Spectrum in Toronto. The event was hosted by The Grocery Foundation in partnership with the Ontario Student Nutrition Program Network and provided a stage for youth to share their views on the success of Student Nutrition Programs in their schools.

Katherine is the breakfast program coordinator for T.A. Blakelock, where 200 students are served healthy food options every morning by over 25 student volunteers in a positive environment shared by staff and students alike.

Congratulations to Katherine for admirably representing her school and student nutrition programs in Halton.
