February is Feeduary Month at Halton Food for Thought!
Student Nutrition Programs are universal and open to all students in the school community; community support is a crucial part of running a successful, stigma-free, healthy school food program.
As part of Feeduary, Halton Food for Thought and select partner schools invited special guests including donors, community partners, politicians and dignitaries into school breakfast, snack and salad bar lunch programs.
We had an overwhelming response this year 76 total special guest visits by 70 unique guests at 21 participating host opportunities. WOW it was one busy week!
Thank you to all our host school sites and Student Nutrition Program teams for the opportunity to “get our hands dirty” feeding kids. Thank you as well to all Special Guests who were able to join us! Together we #FeedTheirFuture!
Please help us keep the healthy school food conversation going; help us build our audience. Follow @HaltonFFT to stay up to date on all thing #studentnutrition in Halton!
