This year’s Partner Recognition Event, Sunday September 24th, was a huge success!
Did you know that in partnership with the community, over 2,100 Halton Food for Thought Volunteers (including 930 students) provide healthy nutritious food to elementary and secondary students via 187 Student Nutrition Programs in 120 partner schools so they can achieve academic success?
Last year alone 3,400,000 healthy meals and snacks were funded, shopped, chopped and lovingly made available to HDSB and HCDSB students in universally accessible, non-stigmatizing school environments across Halton, helping kids reach their potential.
Every fall, Halton Food for Thought hosts a Partner Recognition Event to celebrate the amazing accomplishments over the past year.
