Tim Hortons restaurant owners and millions of generous Canadians across the country combined broke a new Smile Cookie record by raising more than $12 million for local charities across the country. 100% OF SMILE COOKIE PROCEEDS DONATED.
This year in Acton Ontario, a big thank you goes directly to the Malinosky Family, local owners of Tim Hortons Acton and Georgetown whose locations raised combined $9,100 – highest single year to date! This year’s donation brings their seven-year contribution to just over $30,000!
Funds raised through the Smile Cookie campaign will be used to support much needed healthy student nutrition programs at local schools throughout Acton and Georgetown provided by Halton Food for Thought.
“We are very grateful to be part of the Tim Hortons community and the Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign. These funds will play an important role in allowing us to continue to provide important student nutrition programs for this community and supports our continued effort to make sure no student goes hungry at school”.
