Did you know that in partnership with the community, over 2,100 Halton Food for Thought Volunteers (including 1060 students) provided healthy nutritious food to elementary and secondary students via 200+ Student Nutrition Programs in over 130 partner schools this school year so they can succeed? Halton students need access to the nutritious food to fuel a full day of learning. As such, in partnership with the Halton Catholic District School Board and the Halton District School Board Halton Food for Thought has pivoted to ensure food is still available to students during the school day in accordance with Public Health, safe food handling and Ministry of Education guidelines.
