During the month of February, Halton Food for Thought will be holding its eighth annual Feeduary campaign to shine a light on the importance of Student Nutrition Programs across Halton region.

The campaign includes visits to 11 Halton schools welcoming guests from the community to join in and learn more about our programs, program spotlights and program facts shared via social media.

We are excited to be visiting the following schools during Feeduary:

Oakwood Public School

St. Marguerite D'Youville Catholic Elementary School

Our Lady of Victory Catholic Elementary School

Eastview Public School

Ethel Gardiner Public School

Clarksdale Public School

Tom Thomson Public School

Craig Kielburger Secondary School

St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Secondary School

St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Secondary School

St. Patrick Catholic Elementary School

We are excited to kick-off Feeduary later this week at Oakwood Public School in Oakville. This school has built a strong community around their program, offering a sit-down breakfast for students daily where students can gather before the start of their school day around a warm meal. It will be a great start to the Feeduary visits, and we can’t wait to welcome our guests!

Follow us on social media @HaltonFoodForThought to learn about the benefits of Student Nutrition Programs and the positive impact they have on a student’s day at school. Together we can #FuelTheFuture through nutritious meals and snacks for all students within the Halton school community.
