Liam is passionate about advancing student nutrition across Halton. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in gastrointestinal health and nutrition at the Farncombe Institute at McMaster University, where his research focuses on how diet and the gut microbiome influence health.

Liam has longstanding ties to HFFT and the community, having grown up in Oakville and serving as the program coordinator for the breakfast program at T.A. Blakelock High School while he was a student there. This experience gave him firsthand insight into the importance of accessible, nutritious food in supporting student success.

He has continued to contribute to HFFT through community initiatives over the past decade.Liam holds a PhD in Medical Science and a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization. He is committed to supporting the next generation through equitable access to healthy food. ‍
